Vajra ankusha (vajra hook)

Vajra ankusha or vajra hook like such item used in ancient India to control and manage elephants. In Vajrayana teachings, it symbolizes magnetizing and taking under control and is an inpliment of the hand of many subjugating deities. As a ritual object, it is used to create a support mandala or to initiate the corresponding deity.
